How to participate? A few guidelines as we begin….
- Simply check my feed, or search the reader, for the 100WW or tag #100WW, post each Wednesday. I’ll also be posting on my Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook Feeds.
- Write your submission on your blog, Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook Feed and ping back to the weekly blog post. Feel free to use the image provided or your own. Please do credit the artist whose image we use — Links provided.
- I have not enabled automatic pingbacks due to a plethora of spam messages attempting to link up. Do feel free to also continue posting your links and I will enable your pingbacks as I check my blog. Thank you for understanding!!
- I’ll provide a Weekly Summary, or Windup, of posts on or by Tuesday; take the opportunity to read and comment on your fellow bloggers posts {keeping in mind to give each other grace and space}. I try to read them all and post your submission in the Weekly Windup.
- Have fun! I enjoy reading your challenge submissions!

Here is my entry for the week.
The Unexpected Delay
She’s been up there awhile. It’s getting on 7:30am, I wonder what could be keeping her. She knows we’ll be late for school? She may still be brushing her hair or her teeth. Or perhaps her mum is telling he to be careful for what she eats again.
She’s had a lot of that lately you know. From a lot of people. Mostly in white coats with funny accents. But what could be keeping her this morning when all I want is to get to school before being counted late?
Finally, come on then… What? She won’t be coming? Why?

Thank you. Childhood illness and death can be confusing for their friends who aren’t expecting them not be there when the inevitable strikes. Sorry to be so sad

Not at all! I wondered! Thank you for clarifying – so much mire could be written in this story, but it’s wonderful as it stands 📚🖤

Ohh the implications of this one does not sound good for the protagonist. Good one, Kia.

Thx. I’m afraid the one being waited for has at least taken a turn for the worst or passed away.
