Saturday Six Word Story Prompt (6WSP): “Heaven”

Hi there all you blogger buddies and readers. This will hopefully be a weekly participation post for Saturday Six Word Story Prompt.

You can read the rules and guidelines HERE.

I’m participating in this week’s prompt of Heaven. Why not join in? Here we go with my entry:

“Only Heaven awaits in God’s grace.”

And…

“Justice requires it to be so.”

If God I all loving, understanding, gracious and merciful… Then Heaven is the only option in regards to our Life after death here.

No matter what shape or situation that encompasses “punishment” or Justice for our ‘sins’ of being human, flawed and fragile… The God who made us cannot but recognize that we are not meant or fashioned for ‘perfection’. Life is not perfect and neither are we.

If the implications of our failures go far beyond the consequences of this life, there is no way that we in our finiteness could ever be held to an infinite sentence for what we’ve done in our limited natures, circumstances and information available. It would be Unjust to hand down Infinite Justice on Finite creatures with Limited capabilities and capacities.

So I believe that if Heaven is for Any, it is for All. That is what Grace is after all. Getting what we could never deserve. I haven’t always felt this way. But I’ve learned to err on the side of Mercy.

Here’s my entry for this week:

Time for Tea and an old book.

Surrounded by the green in my garden trees, I leaf thru one of the dusty classics from my shelf.

“Earl grey, hot!” is what one captain might call for, but I only like dryness when it’s accompanied by the Wit of Wilde.

Here I’m unmolested but by the occasional mosquito.

“Did someone call for a Mojito?”

Now it’s your turn. Give it a try. -mike

Saturday Six Word Story Prompt (6WSP): “Fate”

Hi there all you blogger buddies and readers. This will hopefully be a weekly participation post for Saturday Six Word Story Prompt.

You can read the rules and guidelines HERE.

I’m participating in this week’s prompt of Fate. Why not join in? Here we go with my entry:

“We are free, within our Boundaries.”

I don’t believe in Divine Determinism or Preordained Happenstance. Even though there is nothing accidental by physics, Physics itself is not governed by Fate.

Nature is Natural and as such proceeds and unfolds as Nature sees fit. All involved. All interacting. All cooperating in the Dance.

“Destined to Create our own Fates.”

Here’s my entry for this week:

Goads of Fun

When all you see around you is kindling for a fire,

Dead, dry, hopeless chaff,

Remember that at least YOU have a good head on your shoulders.

Even if that means others may think you’re just a Prick.

There’s always at least one in every crowd.

Saturday Six Word Story Prompt (6WSP): “Loss”

Hi there all you blogger buddies and readers. This will hopefully be a weekly participation post for Saturday Six Word Story Prompt.

You can read the rules and guidelines HERE.

I’m participating in this week’s prompt of Loss. Why not join in? Here we go with my entry:

“Loss is an opportunity to Gain”

It’s not to belittle or make less the importance of what happens To us when we say that what happens Thru us creates the difference In us. All loss sucks for a time, but shouldn’t for All time. To the degree we accept and incorporate, adapt and innovate, is the measure of how successful we will be in our ability to Grow and Learn and Be better for the future not only for ourselves, but for Others around us.

“Grieve the Loss, Anticipate the Benefit
